Sounds like Gackt Tuesday, August 3, 2004
Something that strikes me as interesting...My brother and I have very different tastes in music. I love Asian music while he doesn't really care for it. He likes TM Revolution but hates Gackt (and anything to do with him) with a passion. He finds Utada Hikaru boring but likes ZONE. (Well, I like ZONE too...) Yeah, so we have different tastes in Asian music. But whenever he hears a Japanese male vocalist, 75% of the time he will go, "AUUGHHHe sounds like Gackt!" This happens even more where Jrock and my brother are concerned. It occurs 100% of the time he hears anything produced by Mana. Since his ears are not constantly being washed with J-music, I'm beginning to think he may have a point... I realize it's like the phrase "Tastes like chicken." Though now I think of it as "Sounds like Gackt." But seriously, practically every Jrock listener has used "Sounds like Gackt" at least once... right? Sorry for this inconsequential babble. I'm tired. Gee, it's been a long time since I updated this. Like always, I said I'd update but didn't. Well, this place has a new makeover now. It's CHILDREN OF THE REVOLUTION now, my place to rant and rave about my views and interests on the entertainment world. Namely Asian music, but probably movies and books will get several mentions here as well. And err... HOW DID GACKT GET ON THE LAYOUT?!!?!1?!1? Well, I was originally going to make this a linkware layout for White Wings Designs, but I ended up getting an idea for a music blog. So I just used this layout, tweaked the lettering to fit the site name, and coded it. Since this place was pretty much dead, I revamped it and now it's all spiffing new. And I realize that the text is a little hard to read in places - that would be my fault because I didn't know the grid in the background would do that to the text. That's why the text is all huge and bolded. Yah, I was too lazy to go and fix the entire bg :\ Hopefully this site'll stay updated. ^_^ And Enetation had me at the last of my patience, so I switched over to Haloscan. Took me long enough! ...So, we welcome the new and say goodbye to the old. Farewell, Fantasy's Envisiong, you served me well. (yeah whatever that sounds cheesy) |

 INTRODUCTION... Hello, and welcome to CHILDREN OF THE REVOLUTION, Lykouleon's music/entertainment blog/journal kinda thing. This was previously known as my full-time blog, FANTASY'S ENVISIONING, open since January 4, 2003. However, in April 2004, I got a Livejournal and have been doing by regular blogging there ever since. If you came to see my weblog, here is the link to my Livejournal. Music and entertanment (like movies and even books and even anime) are a big part of my life, and they're always there all year round. Whenever I feel that I have discovered something truley ingenius, the first thing I want to do is tell everyone I know about it. This usually leads to random AIM conversations and they often leave my friends very confused. I also tend to write in my LJ about whatever my interest of the day is, though if I did that all the time, my personal LJ would start to look like a huge rant zone about my random spur of the moment interests, and nothing whatsoever about my daily life would be there. So, to keep the two seperate, I decided to create a seperate blog where I can write about what entertains me on whim without feeling like I stuck lots of random stuff in my real journal.
